UBA Donates N500m to Boost Lagos State Security Efforts

The United Bank for Africa (UBA), through its corporate social responsibility arm, UBA Foundation, has donated N500 million to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF).
The cheque was presented to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu by UBA Group Chairman Tony Elumelu at the State House, Marina, Lagos.
Elumelu reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting security initiatives, stating: “Security is critical for economic growth and societal well-being. Our donation reflects UBA’s belief in building safer communities.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed gratitude for the contribution, commending UBA for its continued support of the state’s development.
“This donation will enhance our efforts to protect Lagosians and create a safer Lagos,” Sanwo-Olu said.
The initiative aligns with UBA Foundation’s focus on societal development through strategic partnerships.
