Government Promises to Resolve Fuel Crisis

The Federal Government has pledged to resolve the ongoing fuel crisis that has severely impacted the transportation sector. Motorists have been paying between ₦900 and ₦1,200 per litre due to shortages.
Minister of State for Petroleum (Oil), Heineken Lokpobiri, assured Nigerians via Twitter that the government is working around the clock to address the logistical challenges caused by weather concerns and flooding.
“Dear Nigerians, I understand the frustration many of you are feeling due to the fuel queues in cities such as Abuja. Recent flooding on the trucking route and unavoidable logistical challenges due to weather concerns have temporarily disrupted our distribution chaim”
“I assure you that our dedicated team is working round the clock to resolve these issues. We are committed to restoring normal fuel supply as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. Together, we will overcome these challenges,” Lokpobiri said.
