Two children, yesterday, died when the fence of the house adjacent to 25 Ajao Street, Olainukan Bus Stop, Ishawo, Ikorodu collapsed on a room they were living. The fence, it was learnt, collapsed during yesterday’s heavy downpour.
The bodies of the two children were recovered following the rescue operation.
The South-West Coordinator of, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, later confirmed the incident, revealing that the children, Rakib Atolagbe, nine, and Mujib Atolagbe, seven, were trapped and efforts to rescue them were futile.
