Afrobeat star Davido has tied the knot with his long-time sweetheart Chioma Rowland in a lavish ceremony attended by top celebrities and dignitaries. The event took place on Tuesday at Harbour Point in Victoria Island, Lagos State, and generated significant buzz on social media.

The ceremony came two weeks after Davido confirmed his wedding to the chef. The 30 BG boss had posted their pre-wedding photos on social media, setting the tone for one of the most anticipated events in Nigeria’s entertainment circle, tagged #Chivido2024.

The wedding was attended by high-profile guests, including the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Udom Emmanuel; ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo; Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State; Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun; Senator Daisy Danjuma of Edo South; and Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son.

Chioma and Davido’s relationship became public in 2018 when the singer confirmed it at a public event.
