Zenith Bank Plc has formalized an impactful partnership with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, aiming to champion initiatives that bolster the education, training, and progression of talent in finance and investment. This alliance underscores a concerted effort toward advancing Nigeria’s financial services sector.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Ebenezer Onyeagwu, Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc; Margaret Franklin, President/CEO of the CFA Institute; and Ibukun Oyedeji, President of CFA Society Nigeria on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

During the MoU signing ceremony, Onyeagwu praised the CFA Institute and CFA Society Nigeria for their commendable programs dedicated to nurturing finance and investment professionals in Nigeria. He emphasized Zenith Bank’s commitment to supporting the career development of aspiring finance and investment professionals through partnerships with the CFA Institute and CFA Society Nigeria.

Franklin, in her remarks, highlighted the CFA Institute’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of professionals. She commended Zenith Bank’s steadfast support for the CFA Society Nigeria and its sponsorship of the CFA Institute Research Challenge, while also acknowledging the bank’s standing as a leading employer of CFA members in the country.

The ongoing CFA Institute Africa Investment Conference, facilitated by the CFA Institute and CFA Societies from various African regions, has attracted participation from over 20 Nigerian universities, including members of their investment clubs supported by CFA Society.
