APC’s Bulabari Wins Khana II State Assembly Bye-Election

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs. Henrietta Bulabari, has won the Khana II State House of Assembly Constituency bye-election in Rivers State, polling 7,647 votes.

The Returning Officer, Prof. Angela Briggs, declared Bulabari the winner, stating that she had “satisfied the requirements of the law”.

According to the results announced, the votes received by parties were as follows: AA (46), APC (7,647), NNPP (37), YPP (23), and ZLP (47).

Out of 71,914 registered voters, 7,834 accredited voters cast their ballots. Total valid votes stood at 7,800, while 34 votes were rejected.

Party agents were present to witness the declaration of results.

Reacting to her victory, Bulabari said she was “extremely” happy with the outcome, describing the election as free, fair, smooth, peaceful, and successful.

She pledged to make the people of her constituency proud by implementing impactful constituency projects.
