The Warri South Legislative Arm has thrown its support behind President Bola Tinubu, Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, and Warri South Local Government Chairman Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac, endorsing them for a second term in office.

The endorsement followed a special plenary session held over the weekend, where members gave a unanimous voice vote after Chairman Agbateyiniro presented his administration’s stewardship report marking one year in office.

Presiding over the session, Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Joy Ejumudo, said the decision was based on the impressive performance of the three leaders across the federal, state, and local levels.

Presenting his scorecard, Agbateyiniro announced that a team of engineers had been mobilised to begin the reconstruction of over 73 shops destroyed in a recent fire at the bustling Igbudu Market in Warri.

He added that preliminary work had also commenced for rebuilding a structure razed by fire at Odion Road, Warri, noting that both projects would run concurrently.

The endorsement signals strong grassroots support for the trio as the political landscape begins to shift ahead of the next election cycle.
